One van beats four taxis, and it is not close

The flat rate on a group van covers the vehicle, not the seats, and that changes the arithmetic completely. Split twelve ways, a single van to Playa del Carmen or Tulum lands at a per-person number no per-seat option matches. And unlike splitting across three or four taxis, everyone arrives at the same time, at the same door, with one driver responsible for the whole group. Multiple vehicles mean multiple arrival times, multiple phone numbers and the near-certainty that one car gets lost or held up while the rest of you wait in a lobby. Fourteen people means fourteen people with luggage

Capacity in this industry is usually measured with everyone traveling empty-handed. Ours is not: the Crafter seats up to fourteen and has the cargo space for fourteen people's checked bags, which is a different vehicle from one that seats fourteen and then needs a second car for the suitcases. Where it does get tight is groups that travel heavy in a specific way — dive gear, golf bags for eight, a wedding's worth of decorations, band equipment. None of that is a problem, but it changes the vehicle we assign, so tell us when you book instead of hoping it fits. If your group is larger than fourteen, we run several vehicles on the same schedule with the drivers coordinating, which is the normal setup for weddings and corporate arrivals here.
