Your Cancun Airport to Xpu-Ha transfer
Xpu-Ha is a beach on the Riviera Maya between Puerto Aventuras and Akumal, about 81 km south of Cancun Airport — roughly 1 hour 40 minutes on Highway 307. It is not a town with a centre: the beach is reached by short roads that leave the highway toward the sea, with resorts, a few small hotels and beach clubs along the sand. A private transfer takes you from arrivals to the gate of the place you are staying, not to a bus stop on the side of the highway.
The access roads are on the sea side of the highway, around kilometre 264 to 265. Coming from Cancun that is the left side, so the driver goes on to the next return and comes back. Some resorts sit at the end of their own road through the jungle — Catalonia Royal Tulum, for example, is at km 264.5 — so give us the exact name of your hotel, rental or beach club and you are dropped at the right gate.
Names can be confusing here: some Xpu-Ha resorts carry Tulum in their name, but they are about 50 km north of Tulum and much closer to the airport. If your booking says Xpu-Ha, this is your transfer. Puerto Aventuras is just to the north and Akumal just to the south, both on the same highway.
